What we do & how we do it…
Schema Studio offers a trained team of design and technical problem solvers to partner with our clients, assisting them to realise their project aspirations whilst guiding the project towards its ultimate goals and objectives.
Our project approach utilises many key tools to gather initial information and generate design solutions through a sequential project process following the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Plan of Work, breaking the process down into measurable work stages. This mapping of the process facilitates timely reviews, approvals and effective decisions in an organised manner whilst being mindful of project parameters such as budget and programme.
To define the project we may employ questionnaires, interviews and/or organize envisioning sessions. All data is collated into a written brief outlining the project’s goals and objectives.
To document the project during the design stages we utilise hand sketching and 2D/3D computerized resources. Technical documentation is completed in 2D CAD software to assure accuracy and quality.
To effectively deliver the project we will facilitate competitive tenders, assist in the award of the contract and offer monitoring services during the project’s execution.
Some office interior fit-out projects considering alternate spaces may require building analyses and conceptual test fit layout studies in order for our clients to make a more informed decision. It may be important to convey a sense of identity and culture which can be seamlessly woven throughout the design. Such branding is a service we offer, including both built elements as well as graphics integrated into visual applications.
Residential architectural projects may require planning and building regulations coordination. Other projects may involve listed building considerations. For all projects Schema Studio has quality sub-consultants available to fold into the project process as may be required.
Step by step, Schema Studio will ensure that your project begins and ends with a professional, communicative and personal approach and the professionalism worthy of the architectural, design and construction industries.
